This document specifies requirements and tests methods for deposit systems, and classifies the systems according to their burglary resistance and their resistance to the theft of deposits. This document comprises two types of deposit system: — Night safes which provide depositing services for the customers of financial institutions without giving access to the content of the night safe. — Deposit safes which enable the personnel of a company to place money or valuables in safe custody without giving access to the content of the deposit safe. The installation condition for deposit safe according to this document is that the depositing functions are installed inside the premises of the company and are only disposable for the personnel of the company. NOTE Parts of a deposit system are a receiving unit, an input unit and in some cases, a chute. This document includes design requirements for deposit systems controlled by programmable controllers and for the software for these. Controller hardware testing is restricted to mechanical or electromechanical attacks of electric motors, sensors, coils and similar devices; but software testing as attempts to influence controller software or controller hardware is not part of this document. Deposit systems can have devices for functions such as user identification and/or counting and registration of money. Tests of and requirements for classification of such functions are not included. This document does not cover protection of persons using the deposit system or the prevention of fraud committed by operators of the deposit system.

This document specifies the selection criteria and minimum requirements for selecting coatings for pressurized service within process vessels. This is given for the following: This document refers to types of coatings that are generally available, with properties that are known and documented. It also allows other materials to be evaluated and qualified for use. This document is to be used for process vessels coated at the new construction phase. It is intended to be used only where the coating is applied directly to the substrate. This document does not cover requirements related to metallic coatings nor weld overlay materials.

This document establishes provisions for the labelling of the composition of the components of the plumage for use as fillings and of the fowl species from which such components are derived (waterfowl or landfowl). It is applicable to finished feather and down materials used as fillings of manufactured articles at each stage in their commercial distribution. This document is not applicable for fillings totally containing more than 2 % of foreign matter (see 3.5).

This document is applicable to gas-fired appliances producing domestic hot water. It applies to both instantaneous and storage appliances; water-heaters and combination boilers that have: - heat input not exceeding 70 kW; and - hot water storage capacity (if any) not exceeding 500 l. In the case of combination boilers, with or without storage tank, domestic hot water production is integrated or coupled, the whole being marketed as a single unit. This document sets out in qualitative and quantitative terms the performance in delivery of domestic hot water for a selected variety of uses. It also gives a system for presenting the information to the user.

This International Standard specifies the requirements for the bar code symbology known as EAN/UPC. It specifies EAN/UPC symbology characteristics, data character encodation, dimensions, tolerances, decoding algorithms and parameters to be defined by applications. It specifies the Symbology Identifier prefix strings for EAN/UPC symbols. Data content and the rules governing the use of this symbology are outside the scope of this International Standard; they are defined in the GS1 General Specifications (see bibliography).

This standard describes methods for testing the environmental characteristics of RFID-enabled sporting goods. This document suggest methods for identifying the main use environments and related testing of environmental characteristics of sporting goods for indoor and outdoor sports with RFID and optionally additional advanced electronic devices like sensors. The addressed environmental characteristics cover the viewpoint of manufacturers including distribution and inventory management, as well as furthermore the aspects of consumer use of the actual RFID-enabled sports items. This standard defines methods to measure and evaluate the performance change of tags after environmental characteristic test.

The characterization scheme is not sequential, and the different modules can be implemented separately based on specific needs (e.g. Regulatory needs, Competent Authority’s requests, clients’ request).
