This International Standard establishes technical requirements and guidelines for the quality assurance of COTS EEE components, ensuring that performance, quality, schedule, cost and other critical requirements are met throughout the entire life cycle of space mission. The family includes electro-optical components. This standard does not cover specific test items for different types of components.
