This international standard provides a common understanding of the principles, terminology, and guidelines for applying various methods and tools within DFSS. Furthermore, it outlines how multidisciplinary teams can effectively implement DFSS. It is essential to note that DFSS is not intended to replace an organization's existing development processes; instead, it aims to enhance them significantly.
