This International Standard specifies the requirements for design, specification, type testing and production testing and inspection of dedicated LPG manually operated cylinder valves for use with and directly connected to transportable refillable LPG cylinders. It also includes requirements for associated equipment for vapour and liquid service. Bursting discs and/or fusible plugs are not covered in this International Standard. Annex B identifies requirements for production testing and inspection. This International Standard excludes other LPG cylinder devices which are not an integral part of the dedicated manually operated cylinder valve. This International Standard does not apply to cylinder valves for fixed automotive installations and ball valves.

This document specifies the validation protocol of analytical methods used for ensuring the quality of the gaseous hydrogen quality at hydrogen distribution bases and hydrogen fueling stations for PEM fuel cells for road vehicles. Recommendation on calculation of uncertainty budget is also given in this document. This protocol is established mainly for analysis done in laboratories after the sampling of hydrogen either at hydrogen distribution bases or at hydrogen refueling stations. The specific requirements for on-line monitoring are not covered by this document. A list of suitable analytical techniques used to measure each impurity in hydrogen, according to the specification defined by ISO 14687, is also given in this standard Moreover, recommendations for keeping the integrity of the sample are also given in order to ensure the quality of the measurement. Guideline for reporting the analytical results is also included in this standard.

This document specifies a test method for determining the shear behaviour of an adhesive in a single lap joint bonded assembly when subjected to a tensile force. This document specifies a test method for determining the comparative compression shear strength of adhesive bonds and solid wood at both ambient temperature and elevated temperature. The maximum load of the test pieces at ambient temperature and after exposure to a specific elevated temperature for a specified duration of time is evaluated. It is applicable to adhesives used in load bearing timber structures and to other wood adhesives.This method is intended primarily to obtain performance data for the influence of elevated temperatures on the behaviour of adhesive bonds. This method is not intended to provide data for structural design, and does not necessarily represent the performance of the bonded element in service.

This document specifies a general method for determining the average molecular weight and the molecular weight distribution of polymers using size-exclusion chromatography (SEC). The average molecular weight and the molecular weight distribution are calculated from a calibration curve constructed using polymer standards if using one of the SEC techniques described in Parts 2 to 4 of this International Standard or from a calibration curve constructed using absolute molecular weight data if using size-exclusion chromatography coupled with light-scattering detection (SEC-LS) as described in Part 5 of this International Standard.
