1.1 Scope of prEN 1992 1 2(1) This document deals with the design of concrete structures for the accidental situation of fire exposure and is intended to be used in conjunction with prEN 1992 1 1 and EN 1991 1 2. This document identifies differences from, or supplements to, normal temperature design.(2) This document applies to concrete structures required to fulfil a loadbearing function, separating function or both.(3) This document gives principles and application rules for the design of structures for specified requirements in respect of the aforementioned functions and the levels of performance.(4) This document applies to structures, or parts of structures, that are within the scope of prEN 1992 1 1 and are designed accordingly.(5) The methods given in this document are applicable to normal weight concrete up to strength class C100/115 and lightweight concrete up to strength class LC50/60.1.2 Assumptions(1) In addition to the general assumptions of prEN 1990 the following assumptions apply:- the choice of the relevant design fire scenario is made by appropriate qualified and experienced personnel or is given by the relevant national regulation;- any fire protection measure taken into account in the design will be adequately maintained.

This standard gives the general basis for the design of structures in plain, reinforced and prestressed concrete made with normal weight, lightweight and heavyweight aggregates together with specific rules for buildings, bridges and civil engineering structures, including temporary structures, under temperature conditions between –40 °C and +100 °C generally. It complies with the principles and requirements for the safety, serviceability, durability and robustness of structures, the basis of their design and verification that are given in EN 1990 Basis of structural and geotechnical design.EN 1992 is only concerned with the requirements for resistance, serviceability, durability, robustness and fire resistance of concrete structures. Other requirements, e.g. concerning thermal or sound insulation, are not considered.This Part 1-1 does not cover:- resistance to fire (see EN 1992-1-2),- fastenings in concrete (see EN 1992-4),- seismic design (see EN 1998),- particular aspects of special types of civil engineering works (such as dams, pressurevessels),- design with galvanised reinforcing steel,- structures made with no-fines concrete, aerated or cellular concrete, lightweight aggregateconcrete with open structure components,- structures containing structural steel sections (see EN 1994 for composite steel-concretestructures),- Structural parts made of concrete with D_lower < 8 mm, unless otherwise stated in the code.

1.1 Scope of prEN 1996 3(1) The scope of EN 1996-1-1 applies also to this this document.(2) This document provides simplified calculation methods to facilitate the design of the following unreinforced masonry walls, subject to certain conditions of application:- walls subjected to vertical and wind loads;- walls subjected to concentrated loads;- shear walls;- basement walls subjected to lateral earth pressure and vertical loads;- walls subjected to lateral loads but not subjected to vertical loads.NOTE For those types of masonry structures or parts of structures not covered by (2), the design can be based on EN 1996-1-1.(3) The rules given in this document are consistent with those given in EN 1996-1-1, but are more conservative in respect of the conditions and limitations of their use.(4) The rules given in this document assume that concrete floors are designed according to EN 1992 1 1.(5) This document applies only to those masonry structures, or parts thereof, that are described in EN 1996-1-1 and EN 1996-2.(6) The simplified calculation methods given in this document do not cover the design of double-leaf walls.(7) The simplified calculation methods given in this document do not cover the design for accidental situations.1.2 Assumptions(1) The assumptions of EN 1990 apply to this document.

Standardia sovelletaan lukkojen ja pintahelojen mekaanisen murronkestävyyden testauksessa.Lukoilla tarkoitetaan kiinteästi asennettavia lukkoja, riippulukkoja ja avainsäilöjä. Sähkömekaaniset lukot testataan normaalissa käyttötilassa.Standardissa määritellään:- testauksessa käytettävät koelaitteet ja työkalut,- käytännön murtokokeen, porauskokeen sekä tiirikointi- ja manipulointikokeen suorittaminen,- lukoilta vaadittava kestävyys standardissa SFS 7020 esitetyn luokittelun mukaisesti, sekä- vaatimukset testaajien ammattitaidolle ja testausraportin sisällölle.Testauksen kohteena voi olla joku tai jotkut lukon komponenteista: lukkorunko, vastalevy, avainpesä, pintahela, riippulukko tai kiinnike. Testattavan komponentin on kuitenkin testissä oltava olennainen osa lukkoa, joka on koottu muita komponentteja käyttäen ja asennettu koeklossiin.Komponentti voidaan testata osana kokonaisuutta, joka muodostuu testin tilaajan omista tai muiden valmistajien komponenteista. Tilaaja määrittelee, mitä ja minkä valmistajan tuotteita komponentin kanssa on tarkoitus käyttää.

This European Standard describes a method for assessing the resistance of wood-based panel products to attack by wood-destroying basidiomycete fungi growing in pure culture.The method is applicable to uncoated, rigid wood-based panel products. It is applicable to the determination of the decay resistance of wood-based panel products:— made from naturally durable materials;— made from materials treated with preservatives prior to manufacture;— treated with a preservative which is introduced during manufacture, for example as an additive to the adhesive;— treated with preservative after manufacture.NOTE 1 This method can be used in conjunction with an appropriate ageing procedure, for example EN 73 or EN 84.NOTE 2 Wood-based panel products that have received a preservative treatment after manufacture can be susceptible to attack through the cut edges of the test specimens and the decay resistance indicated can be less than that of complete panels used in service.Annex A (informative) contains a guidance on sampling.Annex B (normative) contains some methods of sterilization.Annex C (informative) contains information on the culture vessels.Annex D (informative) contains an example of a test report.Annex E (informative) contains information on the test fungi.

This European Standard specifies the calculation method, based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and other quantified environmental information, to assess the environmental performance of a building, and gives the means for the reporting and communication of the outcome of the assessment. The standard is applicable to new and existing buildings and refurbishment projects.The standard gives:- the description of the object of assessment;- the system boundary that applies at the building level;- the procedure to be used for the inventory analysis;- the list of indicators and procedures for the calculations of these indicators;- the requirements for presentation of the results in reporting and communication;- and the requirements for the data necessary for the calculation.The approach to the assessment covers all stages of the building life cycle and is based on data obtained from Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), their "information modules" (prEN 15804) and other information necessary and relevant for carrying out the assessment. The assessment includes all building related construction products, processes and services, used over the life cycle of the building.The interpretation and value judgments of the results of the assessment are not within the scope of this European Standard.

This European Standard describes the method of specifying the design, installation criteria for system chimneys, construction of custom built chimneys, and the relining of existing chimneys. It also gives information on commissioning of chimneys.This European Standard also deals with connecting flue pipes.This European Standard does not apply to freestanding chimneys covered by EN 13084-1.This European Standard excludes chimneys designated H (high positive pressure chimneys) and chimneys for room-sealed heating appliances.For the purpose of this European Standard the term "installation" includes construction.

This document specifies requirements for assessment of the mechanical strength of metal profiles incorporating a thermal barrier having mechanical performance depending on their intended use.It also specifies the tests to determine the characteristic values of mechanical properties of the thermal barrier profile and to assess the effect of different conditionings of the thermal barrier on the mechanical performance of the connection.Thermal barriers which do not give a contribution to the mechanical resistance of the profiles are excluded from this document.This document applies to thermal barrier profiles designed mainly for windows, doors, screens and curtain walls. It does not apply to thermal barriers made only of metal profiles connected with metal pins or screws.

This European Standard describes the method of specifying the design, installation and labelling criteria for chimney systems, construction of custom-built chimneys, the relining or converting of existing chimneys, connecting flue pipes and air supply pipes for roomsealed applications. It also gives information on commissioning of an installed chimney.This European Standard applies to chimneys which are subject to the following limiting conditions (specified in EN 13084-1):? the horizontal distance between the building and the outer wall of the chimney system not toexceed 1 m,? the distance between the supports not to exceed 4 m,? the distance above the last structural attachment not to exceed 3 m.This standard does not cover:? chimneys which serve a mixture of fan assisted or forced draught burners or natural draughtappliances,? installations having a configuration of the type C2.NOTE Roomsealed gas appliances are classified as type C according to EN 1749.The methods in this part of this European Standard are applicable to chimneys and connecting flue pipes for room sealed combustion appliances. The methods in Part 1 of this European Standard are applicable to chimneys and connecting flue pipes for non-room sealed combustion appliances.For the purpose of this European Standard the term "installation" includes construction.
